The Culinary Arts program is designed to provide students with advanced level professional chef and related cooking skills and techniques for restaurants and other commercial food establishments. Students will learn advanced techniques in culinary skills, as well as kitchen management and restaurant management and business principles.
The Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism Management program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue employment or business ownership in the hospitality and tourism industry. In addition to understanding corporate practices, students will also acquire project management and entrepreneurship knowledge and skills to support independent and small business operations. Program focus will lean toward the promotion of sustainable practices that promote, and allow to flourish, the cultural and environmental attributes of the state.
